Dynamic Content Delivery: Can the Content Find the User?

Author-it offers the Dynamic Assistance Platform, which proposes to know who the user is and personalize the content to their needs in real time. Dynamic content delivery promises to reduce search time, user frustration, and help desk calls.

"This is accomnplished with intelligent content that is dynamically assembled and personalized to the user’s profile and context. The information actually finds the user when the user needs it, eliminating time spent looking for content, and dramatically improving user productivity."

Sound too good to be true? James will discuss what it does, how it works, and what it takes from the writers to make it happen.

Directions: From the 210 East, either east or west direction, take the Buena Vista offramp. Go north. At the signal, which is Huntington, turn right. Turn right into the second driveway on the right, and you'll see the restaurant (between Mike's Food and AutoZone)

Please email your reservation to rsvp@stcsgv.org. Please RSVP by 11:00 p.m. Saturday May 26, 2010. Be sure to include your full name in the body of the reservation.

Arrival and networking begins at 6:00p. Dinner is served about 6:30p. We're continuing our special pricing as follows:

• $15 for STCSGV members with reservation

• $20 for STC members with reservation

• $25 for non-STC members with reservation

Payment:

You may pay by check or cash at the door on the night of the event or
You may pre-pay by credit card or check before the event, using PayPal:

1. Go to www.paypal.com and select the Send Money tab. Follow PayPal's instructions for sending money.

2. Enter rsvp@stcsgv.org as the recipient email address.

3. Enter the correct payment amount according to your STC membership status (see pricing for this event above) plus $1 for PayPal fees.

If you pay for this event and then need to cancel for any reason (before the reservation deadline). your payment will be fully refunded. PayPal may take 2-3 days to process the refund.
